Aimpoint Comp

should i get the aimpoint comp M4s or the trijicon ta01nsn?

i will be putting it on my ar15 with 16in barrel. both are close to the same price only a $200 dollar difference. i really like both but i have only used the aimpoint. if you could please tell me your experience with both and which one you prefer. i also will be shooting at 100+ yards at targets roughly 1ft by 1ft. thanks in advance.

They’re both good choices. If you’ve used the Aimpoint and like it then I’d stick with that. The Trijicon is more complex and the reticle is a love it or hate it proposition. I know you listed two and they are both good but i’d like to throw the Eotech into the mix. They’re excellent also. I have been using one for years and never had a problem with it. They have a standard dot (even a small one moa) and a bullet drop three dot setup for the 223. My favorite reticle is the dot in a donut which has a 1 moa dot in a 65 moa donut, this is easy to range find and works for many applications Bottom line though is that it’s what you feel comfortable with.
