Banner Dusk
What scope dimensions should i get for my lever action?
I have a marlin 336c, and i was wondering if i should get a bushnell banner or dusk and dawn scope. also i was wondering which dimensions i should get a 3-9x40mm or a 1-4x32mm.
Additional information: it is a 30-30, and i hunt at anywhere from 50-150 yards. But usually fairly close, like 75 would be an average i guess. Also i would like your answer to have something to do with the circle x reticle because that one is my favorite.
The range of the gun and the range of the shots you will be making only need a 4 power scope. If you put a 3×9 power scope on it, at some point you will accidentally leave the scope turned up to 9 and then you will see a deer close and not be able to find it in your scope. I’ve made this mistake before.
I have a 3×9 and I rarely turn it up to 9 even on a long shot (200 yards or so). I always leave mine on about 4 or 5.
