Base Adapter

Need adapter to go from intermediate base socket to a regular light bulb base. Can’t find one. Need help!?

I bought a ceiling fan and I want to put compact fluorescent light bulbs in it but they don’t fit because the size of the socket is different than the base of the light bulbs. Does anyone know if someone sells an adapter? I’m getting desperate. I know I’ll save a bunch of money in electrical costs so the cost of the adapter isn’t really an issue — unless it’s like $20 or more.
