What kind of scope base does Savage Mark II rifle have?

Can I just get a weaver style scope ring and attach it to the base of the Savage Mark II rifle? Or does it have a special base for the scope ring?
Mark II rifles uses 22 lr caliber bullets. I am wondering if these rifles have 3/8 mounts or the weaver mounts or maybe I need to buy an adapter to use 3/8 or weaver?
