How do I add black/red tips to my hair?

I have light/medium brown hair and I was wondering how I put black or red tips in. Is there a special technique? Also, I don’t want to bleach it…

Part the hair and take each sections and apply color to the ends and continue
much as you like or go tho the beauty palor for the pro to do it.
it will cost ,but it will be done right.
