Gamo Hunter Sport pellet gun upgrades?

Okay, by recommendation by people, I have added a GRT III trigger to my Gamo hunter sport, and also bought a BSA Optics 3-9x40mm Huntsman Scope. I shot it a bit today, and I can’t get a good spread. why is this? do I need anything else? This is really disappointing. and I am not looking to buy a new gun yet.

Air rifles tend to be very particular when it comes to the pellet they prefer(accuracy). I would suggest that you experiment with a variety of quality pellets.

Air rifles in that power range “generally” perform best with pellets that weigh around 8gr. I recommend.
RWS Superdome(8.3gr)
Crosman Premier Domed Light(7.9gr)
H&N Field and Target(8.5gr)
JSB Exact Domed(7.6gr)

Another thing is, spring piston air rifles tend to be hold sensitive.
