what to use for coyote hunting???

what should i use for coyote hunting a 12 gauge 11/87 special purpose w/ a rifled barrel and scope, a 10/22, a 12 gauge 11/87 premier w/ a rifled barrel or a smooth barrel, a 12 gauge smooth barrel mossberg 500 with rifle style sights, or a .50 caliber remington genisis with bushnell scope? there is a road about a quater mile east of where i will hunt and a house about half mile over a hill to the south of where i will hunt. there are trees between me and the road but just a hill between me n the house should i worry about it with the 22 and or the muzzelloader? i was also wondering if it would be better to put some bait out and hunt out of a camo tent i use for deer hunting?
ps what is a good call (under $50) that will go pretty far and still be effective short range?
