Would it be safe to put my baby in a baby sling when putting up my art work?

My daughter will be two months old when I put up my artwork at the end of april and I have to go in on a weekend to put it up for the monday and and the day care the university offers isn’t available for me on a weekend so I’d have to take her in with me because I know my flat mates won’t look after her and I’m not on best terms with my family. But I’m not 100% sure if she’d be safe in it. Would it be safe to have her in the baby sling or should I find someone to look after her.
It’s my show, I have to display my own work myself
I don’t like the idea of leaving her with my back turned because anyone can walk into the hall and take her and I don’t hear well from behind.

Can’t you find something else to sit her in while hanging it up?
