I have to write an essay on Geman film ‘Karbid and Sauerampfer’ under the title ‘What is characteristic of the motif of the journey?’ (a man travels across Germany in 1945 with chemical substance carbide to help rebuild a factory in bombed out Dresden) I don’t mind if you haven’t seen the film,I just need to know what a motif is and how can it be characteristic.
