What is the difference between lee collet and pacesetter dies?

Lee collet dies gently squeeze only the neck of the casing against a mandrel for resizing. Regular dies like pacesetters force the casing into a die and squish and stretch the shell pretty good. You cannot use a neck resized casing in multiple guns,( ie. if it came from gun x, it needs to be fired out of gun x) as the shell is not completely resized and will only fit that gun well (form firing). It most likely not work in most autoloaders as well, as it probably needs a strong locking system like a bolt action to close up. They are used a lot by bench rest shooters because form fired shells are much more accurate as the firing does not need to expand the whole shell as much to get a good seal, less variables mean more accuracy. Collet dies also are usually used with a special seated die that allows the bullet to be seated out to just touching the lands for maximum bullet pull and consistent complete ignition.
