Dot Sight

Is getting a red dot sight worth it for paintball?

I have a Bt-4 ERC with a delta elite package and a carry handle which i would mount the red dot sight onto, are they worth it and which is a cheap GOOD one?
I was looking at the NcStar 1×40 Red dot and built in laser?

personally i think putting a sight on a paintball gun is just for show but they do have an advantage when shooting within 25~30 yrd range. Paintballs fly pretty dead on within that range, not much drop if any and if you bore your barrel and paintball correctly.. it be lethal. Put a APEX barrel on it and you can increase your accuracy up to 45~65 yrd. (of course i’m speaking of accuracy using the red dot scope.) anything beyond that you might have to compensate for drop and spin.

If you got the money for it and really want to try it out. i say go for it, but i’m not much of a fan of scopes or sights on my paintball gun, just shoot by feel baby~ xD
