Which Tights for Wear in which Season?

Tights are wonderful pieces of clothing which are popular with women all around the world. There are many different types of tights which are suitable for different occasions and seasons. Certain types of pantyhose are better during the winter, while others are better during the summer. The thickness or denier is normally what you will look at when choosing tights for a particular season.

There are many people who wouldn’t dream of wearing tights during the summer. However with some careful thought this really doesn’t have to be the case. If you spend time carefully choosing tights for the weather then you should be able to wear tights all year round.

Summer

If you’re interested in wearing tights during summer months then you should really be choosing lightweight pairs. These are much more breathable and will prevent you from getting too hot. You should think twice about wearing opaque tights during the summer months, and avoid the darker shades as these often get hotter. Choose tights with a low "denier" because these will be much more suitable for summer time.

During the summer months you might find that natural tight shades are much better. These can also make you look sun kissed before the weather allows you to get a tan. There are some tights which have a nice sheen which can make highlighting your legs much easier. Using bright colors and pastels are ideal for summer months if your clothing suits it.

Winter

During the colder winter months you will want to choose tights which are not only warm but also fashionable. You will want to wear thicker high denier but you don’t want them to look horrible just because they are more practice. You can use wool tights because these will keep you very warm. This means that you can continue wearing dresses and skirts even though the weather is much colder during the winter. Finish the look off with a nice pair of stylish boots and you’re on to a winning combination.

Most people choose to wear dark colors during the winter, including grey and black. Of course you don’t have to wear only dark colors - you can also wear bright colours if you want. Don’t feel like you have to be restricted to only wearing dark colors. Wearing bright colours can actually make any outfit look much better.

You will be able to find a pair of tights which are ideal for all seasons. You just need to choose tights which are suitable for the weather and look the part too. Tights are often worn all year round.
