Dual Crimp

How to remove a crimped exhaust pipe?
I was installing a flowmaster american thunder series dual exit exhaust on a 2002 chevy silverado and accidentally put rear exit pipes when i wanted side exit, but had already tightened the clamps and the pipe crimped itself onto the other so now i cant remove it. any ideas because my chrome tips are touching my tow bar and rattles evertime i start the truck, and probably getting scratched up. please help, i want my side exit pipes on there!!!
If you’re very careful with a long, thin blade screw driver you can drive it in there with a hammer, pull it out and drive it in again in another spot, slowly working your way around the pipe until you have it loosened up enough to remove it. An air hammer with a chisel is a lot faster but you have to really be careful not to tear it up. I’ve separated clamped exhaust systems that way more than once.
