is the tippmann model 98 the same as the 98 custom?

I’m trying to figure if a tippmann 98 custom is the same as a 98 model or if the parts of the custom would fit the model? Thanks for the help.

No, the model 98 is a much older version of the 98 custom. You might get a good deal on a 98 but you would be hard pressed finding parts to upgrade it with due to its age. I’d go with the 98 custom, MUCH more customization options (that are easier to find), and just an all around better and newer gun.
