Where do you check the Wireing for your gas gage leveling system?

This is for a 94 Dodge RAM Van 250. GOt the 316 In it. I’m trying to figure out why my gas gage don’t work and I’ve had ppl tell me its the fuel leveling system, one said check the wireing, and I would like to know where the wireing is.

In the top of the tank you will find your float assembly and the wiring hooks to it.

The float assembly is probably what is bad as it rubs some bare wires and eventually wears out as it is operating.
