Glock Sights

how do i improve my accuracy with a rental glock 17 at the range?
i have minimal time at the range, as my dad only takes me if i’m on a break
the glock @ the range has weird sights that aren’t three dot. the front sight is a dot, the rear a white line.
i think i may be flinching behind the trigger
what kind of shooting stance do you recommend?
PLEASE don’t write bad answers, my scenario is bad enough already
Weaver stance- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weaver_stance – revolutionized competetive shooting.
You need to learn how to smoothly squeeze the trigger, I practice with all my new guns, UNLOADED, at home while watching TV. Aim at a character on tv, then squeeze, repeat till your sights dont move when “shooting”.
Those are stock Glock factory sights, and it really has nothing to do with the dots and lines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_sight The 2nd, 4th and 8th pics are relevant. Whay you are doing is lining up the silouhette of the sights with eath other, the dots and lines are for contrast.
Also learning that its not all about the sights will help you improve drastically. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_point_of_aim
