how do you make digital photos have the quality of film?

you can sooooo tell if the picture was taken with a digital cam or a film cam. i mean its the grain, the colors, the light leaks, and even the marks from the film. I can’t make digital photos look like its been taken with a filim camera no matteer what i do it just doesn’t look the same! how can i make it look more like film?

I find it impossible to replicate the focal lengths and depth of field that film cameras have on digital cameras even when using the same lens on both film and digital camera bodies. I can add grain on to images taken with a digital camera. You can change colour in your images easily as well. I’ve yet to create a completely accurate and convincing light leak, but that’s just a matter of practise and time until I do. My film photos don’t have any marks. But altogether I believe you can only get close to replicating the look of film with your digital images and can’t make them exactly like your film photos.
