ill and seeing the colour green?
I have been sick since Thursday with a bad stomach virus, and on Sunday i came inside from outside, i was outside for 3 minutes and did not go into the light, and my vision became majority green and i looked at myself in the mirror and could not see myself at all, my vision returned to normal in about 5 minutes. Somebody told me green when closing your eyes is a healing colour, what about when they are opened? could this of been why this happened? I am nearly recovered at present. Thanks!
If it is the after effects of being in the sun, everything should be normal. But if green shades are seen in normal times it is not a good sign. The symptom indicate towards Digitalis and need further evaluation by a doctor. The other digitalis symptoms would be palpitation, low blood pressure, bradichardia,tachychardia, low pulse rate, etc., which is indicative of a irrgular or sick sinus syndrome.
Eye symptoms of digitalis: Eyes.–Blueness of eyelids. Dark bodies, like flies, before eyes. Change in acuteness of perception of shades of green. Objects, appear green and yellow. Mydriasis; lid margins red, swollen, agglutinated in morning. Detachment of retina. Dim vision, irregular pupils, diplopia.
If the symptoms persists and repeats again, I would suggest that you see a doctor. with best wishes.
