How high do I mount an electrical outlet?

we’re double checking as I type.

Though they are pretty consistent, it does depend on where you are, which code is being used there.

Typically, center line of outlet should be 12″ above the finished floor or counter.

Unless, of course, it is a garage. Then it would be higher.
