High Weaver
What scope ring height for my setup ?
I have a savage mk2 btvs in 22lr and Im planning on mounting a 4-14×40 mueller apv AO scope. I am going to use burris signature zee rings and confused which height to use? High or Medium? I want the lowest possible clearence. Also im using the stock factory weaver bases. Im leaning towards the medium but not sure.
Mediums should work with a 40mm objective. A 50 would most likely require the taller rings.
