Hunting Binocular
Hunting equipment for Washington state?
This will be my second year hunting in my state of Washington. I just want to insure myself that I am not taking too much (or even too little) hunting equipment on my hunt.
Obviously I carry my rifle… I also have extra bullets, binoculars, knife, hunting outfit, gloves, boots, small survival kit, a few snacks, human cover scent, doe estrus and a backpack. That’s about all I can think of at the moment.
Is there anything else that I have not listed that I should consider taking with me on my hunt?

I carry all of the items listed already (with the exception of pulleys and the SOS pad….I just carry 2 Bic lighters), PLUS….knife sharpener, a Gerber folding pocket saw, a good first-aid kit, 3 small aerial flares, signal mirror, a Garmin GPS unit, a fully charged cellphone (just in case someone in our group gets seriously injured) and 2-way radios so that everyone in our group can keep track of where everyone else is for safety’s sake, to call the others to help with a animal that was just taken, or if you get hurt from a fall. (We frequently split up)
I have a small dynamo style crank battery charger that will recharge the batteries used in the cellphone, GPS, flashlight and radios. (It came with the adapters for various cellphone brands and a holder to recharge 4 AA or AAA batteries at once). I only use rechargable batteries in the things I take into the field.
I also put everything in 1 gallon Ziploc bags for protection from the elements. (You already KNOW how often it rains here)
