I was a vegetarian for a year liked it but was sick more frequently, what can I do to go back?
it would appear I have a sensative digestive system, I can eat grains and dairy without any problems.i get sick so easy from eating meat (in fact im quite ill now from some chicken i had last night).fruits and vegetables seem hard to digest for me. so when i was a vegetarian i ate mostly soy products, beans and rice and breads. I had so much more energy felt great except i seemed more prone to getting sinus infections and colds. I took supplements. is there anything I could eat or take in the scope of things that does not upset my stomach that would prevent this decline in immunity? and I have heard soy is bad in anything more than small amounts is that true?
you were probably detoxing. Some foods can cause excess mucous to build up in your system (diary is one of them) and when you “clean up your diet” you purge all the nasty chemicals and toxins in your system.
