Illum Reticle

scope rings for a Leupold mark 4?

I just bought a Mark 4 1.5-5x20mm MR/T M2 Illum. Reticle http://www.leupold.com/tactical/products/scopes/mark-4-mrt-riflescopes/mark-4-1-5-5x20mm-mrt-m2-illum-reticle/
I’m looking for some rings to put it on my AR-15 flat top reciever. The guy from the leupold site said I can only use Mark 4 super high rings, part number 57555. I found the rings and feel there’s gotta be other options for this scope. If I have to use such a high ring I’d like to have a cutout under the ring for the iron sites and think $150 is kinda steep for just rings. Any suggestions?

I have an older set of see-through rings – Kwik Sight – I have not seen these advertised in some time, but you might find a set at a gun show.

I did not sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night – I do not know for a fact that those rings will work for you – They do look like a possible option –

Both of my AR’s are the Colt AR-15 SP1, I use the Colt 4×20 scope with integrated mounting system.
