Illuminated Pistol
ammunition choice for 1000yd shooting?
Dear Long Distance Shooters.
I am very new to long distance shooting. Up till now i have only done pistol shooting! I have just purchased a Remington 700 Tactical (.308). It comes with a McMillan tactical stock, a Leupold 4.5-14 scope with illuminated recticle. What ammunition would best suit this barrel length and twist for highest accuracy at 1000yards?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. If you can please add any “why’s” in regards to your choice of powder and procectile shapes and weights i’ll feel like i’m leaning something. Thank you
