Astragalus Herb – What You Need to Know

Astragalus herb was originally found in central Asia. The name of this Asian plant, huang qi, translates as “yellow leader”, for it’s yellow root.  The herb is part of a large group of more than 2000 kinds of herbs and small plants, and is a member of the legume plant family.  It is sometimes commonly referred known as milk vetch, goat’s thorn, and sometimes locoweed.
