Can you use Laser sight to adjust Scope ?

Do Weaver based laser sights need to be tuned for accuracy ? or they are accurate out of the box ? Can you use them as boresights ? How accurate are they ?

yes you can but i did one time and missed a dear three times. they are terrible they are just to get you on the target. just go out and shot it to site it in
