Dot Laser Therapy Makes a Giant Leap for Laser Treatment

Laser resurfacing is a tool of cosmetic surgeons that has been perfected over the years. Lasers typically are used to even out imperfections of the skins, such as wrinkles, brown spots and acne scars.

The Trouble with CO2 Lasers

DOT Laser therapy is proving a more effective and much less traumatic tool for skin rejuvenation than the CO2 lasers utilized in the past. DOT Therapy does not impact the skin that surrounds these perforations; instead, it promotes regeneration of the epidermis, bringing about a fresher look. Patients can typically return to normal activities after 2-3 days. And pain, discomfort, and redness are kept to a minimum when compared to the old CO2 procedure.
