Laser Grips

Laser Grips
Springfield Champion Operator, which light/laser mount will fit?

Ironic, but I live in Springfield. lol

There are no great weapons/weapon accessories dealers in town. The last thing I need is some country bumpkin trying to pass off a $200 light/laser combo for $350 on me because its the only light he’ll have that’ll fit my “rich man’s” gun. This is my luck.

My question is this: does anyone know of, for sure, which light/laser combos will fit the Champion Operator? I don’t want to swap out the grips for laser grips as that I prefer the stock.

You’ll get a hundred different answers on this one as something newer/better (more expensive and repackaged) comes along everyday. I can tell you from experience, having carried one dailey and used it hard for years that the Streamlight TLR-2 is my hands down favorite. I’ve put alot of 45ACP through my gun and never had a problem with the light/laser combo handling it. Batteries are expensive (123 lithiums) but that’s the cost of admission. The light is bright and the laser holds it’s point of aim (25ft for mine, it’s adjustable of course). I also like the Crimson Trace laser grips and have them on two of my guns (38 snub and 45 commander), they work great but I like having the light on my duty weapon. Stay away from the cheaper Chinese light/lasers unless it’s a nightstand gun and you can replace it if you use/break it. My Streamlight has served me well for years and taken all the abuse I could throw at it. Contact Streamlight directly and you might aviod a steep markup!
