Lee Primer

44 mag reloading …i need advice?
i ordered a lee pro 1000 reloader and all the gun powder bullets primers and brass too load 1000 rounds but its my first time reloading and before i do i need some advice too make sure i do it safely and the right way anyone reloaded before and has advice?
Pretty simple.
Go over the instructions that come with the reloading kit.
Make sure that you understand how everything works. Do an empty run through of the steps so you understand what is going on and what is happening and what you may need to do at each step…if anything.
Only reload undamaged brass. Anything that is bent or deformed could cause jamming or could fail in the weapon.
Make sure that you read up on what the gun can handle. Until you know what the gun and the cartridge can handle, only use what normally was loaded in the cartridge in the first place. Use the same type of primers, use the same amount of powder and the dame grain of bullet. Once you know what you are doing, then you can read up on safely customizing your ammo .
Beyond that, you should be good to go.
ADDITIONAL:
Got to give a thumbs up (and I did) to Rick J. My answer covered the loading process and safety issues. His was additional information that complements mine covering the reasons and the tricks behind reloading. Follow his and mine, you’ll do fine.
Good luck on finding your magic shooting recipe.
