What kind of Leupold should I use on my Remington 700P?

I am in a fork in the road for whether or not I should get a Leupold M3 10x or if I should get a Mark 4 Lr-t 4.5-14x… Also what are the benefits of a 50mm radius rather than a 40mm radius lens.. Range will be anywhere from 100-700 yards…

I have a 4.5 to 14 goldring Vari-X 3 on a Rem 700 7mm mag and it works extremely well at the ranges you stated. I would get one with mill dots for the longer ranges. I’ve had mine for 5 years and have taken whitetails, mulies, and elk and had no problems getting my crosshairs on target with the 4.5 to 14. In my opinion the 10x starts a little to much magnification and reduces light gathering early morning and at dusk. I would go for the 4’5 to 14…..Hope this helps.
