Light Mount

How to mount my artwork on light card?
The brief says “the design must be printed on high quality A4 paper and mounted on light card” ?
What is a light card? is that like a thick paper?
And how would I mount it.
Please help…
I think they mean light cardboard, they almost make it sound like it goes on something that lights up.
Go to the art supply store and find ‘card stock’ that would compliment the color of your print, or use black or white if it is for an art show/contest as that is what most people use. Then you use photo mount or another spray glue on the back of your print to stick it together. (very carefully positioned, make light marks on the card stock in pencil as a guide and erase the guide marks when you are done) You could possibly use a good double sided tape, but that tends to ‘show through’ as a raised area when you press the print to make it stick well.
At the art supply store someone should be able to help you get all that stuff together and give you more suggestions on how to put your piece together, with examples probably at hand. If you go to Michaels or Joann’s fabric, they won’t really be able to help but they will probably have the paper and the spray mount.
