Which cast bullet is most accurate in the 45-70 cartridge?

Lee 340 grain flat point or Lyman 292 grain flat point?

Pedersoli rifles like any bullets up to 525 Grains with that twist rate, anything longer gets unstable. (stability has nothing to do with weight, but length of bullet.)

Lee makes great molds for non-patched bullets, and heavier bullets are better for longer range using black powder anyway. Try their 459-500-3R bullet, but I’ve had great results with their 457-405-F bullet.
