Magnifier Scope
Can you “Scout mount” a pistol scope with short eye relief on an AR with the carry handle?
I Have a quad rail on my bushmaster, and i’m thinking of using a pistol scope with 12″ or so eye relief and mounting it between the front site post and the carry handle. More or less a poor mans magnifier. Anyone ever seen or heard of something similar?
I’ll most likely raise the the mount base and co-witness the sites.
And plz don’t just say i should buy a flat top upper, it’ll be in the safe in a month or 2!
Your better off and for a better result with a mount on the carry handle.
