Mount Scope

What type of side mount would you use for a British 303 Enfield to mount a scope?

My husband said he needs a side mount for his scope for his 303 British Enfield. I don’t want to ask him more questions, I want to get a side mount for him for a Christmas present. Can anyone help me?

i would advise that you find a well stocked firearms dealer in your locale and ask if there is a B-SQUARE (brand name) mount for this particular rifle.there is often times a problem with scoping a military rifle,as the bolt handle,the little thingy you use to cock the gun,is too straight,and it hits the scope as it is raised up and rearward.if your hubby wants to hunt with this rifle,may i suggest you take it to a gunsmith to have it sporterized at a cost of two-hundred dollars or so.hope this helps you. ken
