The Benefits of Breast Enhancement
Breast enhancements, such as breast augmentation, are one of the most popular Central Florida plastic surgery procedures. Many different options are available for achieving the breast shape and size you desire, as discussed here.
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation can provide a potential solution for many different types of concerns.
- In some cases, women are born with small breasts and desire to enlarge them. Using implants can provide them with the increased size that they want.
- In other situations, women may experience loss of breast volume as a result of pregnancy, nursing, and/or weight loss. Breast augmentation can restore that pre-baby appearance.
During consultations at Daytona Beach cosmetic surgery practices, surgeons encourage their patients to discuss their goals for breast enlargement. Key decisions to make during the consultation usually include the incision location, the type of implant (silicone versus saline), and size, which typically depends on factors such as your body type and personal goals. Also, my patients can try on sizers, so they can choose the perfect size breasts for their individual desires.
Breast Lift
Over time, women begin to notice the physical effects of aging on the position of their breasts. Motherhood and weight loss also can result in similar changes, causing undesirable sagging. A breast lift can transform that shift, raising and reshaping the breasts.
During breast lift surgery, I can perform a precisely planned incision, depending on the woman’s body. I then proceed with the surgery, removing excess skin to create firmer, raised breasts.
Breast Reduction
Overly large breasts may cause headaches, back aches, neck pain, and shoulder discomfort. A breast reduction may ease those issues. In a breast reduction procedure, I can remove excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts.
The result: relief from those symptoms, and a well-proportioned figure. Women often tell me that they also experience more comfort during exercise and enjoy shopping for flattering attire.
Combined Procedures
In addition to the options discussed above, you may want to consider a combined procedure. For example, if you want to enlarge your breasts with an augmentation and elevate their position, a combination augmentation and lift may be a possible solution. Combining other procedures also may be an option, such as a body-contouring procedure with breast augmentation.
