Night Working

How long will it take for my body to adjust to working night shift?

I just started working night shift this past week. I have noticed that I am becoming very moody, emotional, and extremely tired after 8 hours of sleep. I am only this way during day time hours. I have been crying for reasons that normally wouldn’t upset me. Basically I find anything and everything to complain about it. I am thinking I am this way because of the change that has happened with me working nights now. I am wondering if anyone else had the same things happen, but eventually adjusted to the schedule?
