Can I splice 3 PC Fans so they all run at 12v off ONE 12v adapter?
Ok, I want to know how can I connect 3 PC fans together using one 12v power adapter, but I want all 3 fans to run at 12v. Is this even possible? If so, what can I do or what supplies do I need to make it work?

First make sure the 12v power supply is rated to handle the power load the three fans draw. If they are PC case fans, then they only draw about 1 to 2 watts each, max. There will be a sticker on the fans that tell you their power load rating in Watts. This is generally the start-up Wattage. Electric motors require more power at start-up. Combine the three fan’s rated Wattage requirement, and add at least 25% for safety overhead, and that is the minimum power rating that the 12v power supply should have.
Also, and this is critical, make sure you are using a DC power supply when running DC fans. There are a LOT of 12 volt power bricks (wall-warts) that state they are low voltage, like 12 volt, but they don’t rectify the AC voltage at all, so you get a 12 volt AC sine wave from them, not a 12 volt DC voltage.
As far as hooking three fans up to one power supply, this is a simple circuit. One of the simplest ones, in fact. You just wire them all up in “parallel” mode. So, you take all the fan’s positive leads and connect them to the power supplies’ positive side, and all three fan’s negative lead leads to the power supplies’ negative side. Very simple.
This is basic electronics 101. The three fans will all get the full 12v DC, but the power supply will have to output thee times the current to drive them, hence the need to make sure the supply can handle the current load (Amps). If you are hooking this to a computer’s power supply, then you should be fine, since most PC power supplies can easily handle three case fans in addition to their normal load.
