Pistols Takedown

Help with Modern Warfare 2?

I’m stuck on mission 4 “Takedown”. I’m on rookie difficulty. I got to a checkpoint and everytime I respawn I have about 20 bullets left in my pistol and that’s all I have. I use them up so quickly along with grenades that I get to a certain point a dye again? What SHOULD I DO ?!!?! HELP please

This is the one in the Favela. You usually start this level with an assault rifle and a shotgun.

I think this is the mission where you have two other soldiers with you, Meat and Royce. Ignore them, if you follow them, they will get you killed almost as quickly as they get themselves killed.

The best thing to do is take your time, and pick off the favela gang gradually. Don’t charge into areas half cocked, otherwise you will get surrounded. The reason why people struggle with this level is because the favela gang can come at you from all angles, and have the advantage of the rooftops. So a little bit of stealth is required.

When firing automatic weapons, use short and controlled bursts, no more than three or four rounds at a time, don’t just spray bullets from the hip, use the aim function which you was shown right at the beginning of the game.

If you are low on ammo, then pick up enemy weapons, the FAL is probably the most common gun in this level, so if you have one of them, then as long as you can hit a cows arrse with a banjo, you will not run out of ammo.
