Precision Rifle
Is this rifle scope any good for long range Precision shooting?

Will be put on a Remington 700 SPS Varmint .308 Winchester for 500 yard shooting
I would recommend spending a bit more like $400-$500 for “Precision” shooting out to 500, though I’m sure you could hit at 500 with that scope. You get what you pay for with scopes, though the law of diminishing returns kicks in around $1,200 for me personally. I have some cheap scopes ($150 – $400) and one nice scope ($1150), there is a big difference.
