Rail Picatinny

will most weaver style scope rings work on a picatinny mounting rail ?

I ask because I have two sets of cheap-o scope rings for weaver bases and one set tightens fine but the other seems to wide and will not tighten to the rail. should most of them work? I don’t want to have to go through several sets just to fin one that works right.

They should. Stick to a higher quality brand and you should be fine.
