Does it pay to neck turn?

I have developed some fairly decent loads over the years. My question is does it pay to neck turn? I do not bench rest shoot, but I do quite a bit of prairie dog shooting. I’m thinking that other than developing more confidence in my loads it might not help much. Further even if it did help a bit I’m not sure that under field conditions it would be noticeable. Any thoughts out there? If you believe it would help can you suggest equipment – Sinclair, RCBS ect.
I do debur the cases. I also weigh the cases for consistency. I have been loading for 20 plus years, I just haven’t neck turned. I don’t see the need to do it with my big game rifles, but for the prairie dog towns that might be a different story and that is why I ask.
Thanks for the idea hotdog. I’ll give it a try.

Larry, I was just asking a question – didn’t need or want the snide comments.

If I’m going to hunt at very long ranges (anything other than varmints) I will follow every step in the reloading process. But if I’m plinking or shooting varmints and just having a good time, I’ll cut corners, and most often the difference isn’t noticeable. But a fraction of an inch at 100 yards multiplies really quick at distance.

It’s just another step in the already tedious reloading process. It’s really personal preference, but at 300+ yards, inches do count.
