Redding Model

question for Northern California Shooters?

I was Just wondering if anyone out there knows of a good long distance rifle range near Redding, CA, as i just got a remington model 700 sps tactical and can’t find anywhere to really push it to the max if you know what i mean.

Only familiar with two shops in Redding–Old West and Jones Fort; but either one of them should be able to give you information about local ranges. There’s also a gun club in Redding you can check with. Someone’s got to teach Hunter Safety and they’ll be familiar with local ranges. Redding Gun Club has a rifle range; but I don’t know how long it is, nor do I know what you consider long range. If you can’t find anywhere closer the public range in Oroville is over 500 meters.
