Redfield Revolution

What scope rings should i get?
Im getting a ruger 10 22 light target varmint model and i have no clue what kind of scope rings i should get. i am going to be getting a Redfield Revolution 2-7, 33mm. do i get the Redfield 1″ Medium Aluminum Rings w/Matte Black Finish or the Redfield 1″ Low Aluminum Rings w/Matte
Black Finish? i will be hunting and some target shooting….HELP!
With a 33mm scope objective lens the low rings **should** work. But I am not 100% positive here. I know that the medium high rings **will** work. Finish choice of the rings is a personal preference matter. I would get the matte black finish. Whatever rings you get, make sure they are Weaver base compatible. The Ruger 10/22′s come with Weaver style bases – at least some versions do. Be wary that you may get a 10/22 that comes with the less expensive .22 Tip Off type base. I would go with a standard Weaver base that allows for conventional rifle scope rings to be used. The Weaver TO-9 is such a base.
