Reflector Telescope

What can you see with a 900x114mm reflector telescope?
If you have to-scale pictures, that would be AMAZING! Thanks!
If it’s the Trashco brand, you’ll be sorry. Wobbly, poorly constructed, junk optics…
Other brands make a sturdier beginner scope in this size – in telescopes you get what you pay for. I like eBay or CloudyNights for nice used scopes and accessories!

7ft Newtonian (reflector) telescope Photo Mugs William Herschel made and sold many telescopes of this type. He used his own 7ft telescope (which would have been very similar to this one) with a 6.2 inch aperture magnifying images 227 times (depending on the eyepiece used), to make his second review of the heavens in 1781 from his house in New Kings Street, Bath. It was during this review that he discovered the planet Uranus. Herschel was able … |
