how accurate is a 91/30 riffle at 100 yards ? ( not the bend bolt one)?

I am not talking about the sniper version with the bend bolt…but a regular one that is in a great condition. I have a 1937 one made in Tula plant and i really want to put a scout scope mount and a 2-7×32 long eye relief scope but it might be waste of time if they are very unaccurate. I mean i dont expect it to be a true sniper riffle….i would be happy to get a group of 3 to 6 inches at 100 yards with commercial ammo. I guess like the one made by wolf, brown or silver bear. I really want to use it for deer hunting.

Since it’s a Tula made it’s a little more desirable. I would look on the left side of the receiver and see if has a SA in a box on it or any where if it does this means it’s Finnish upgraded. I have a 1939 Izhevsk M91/30 Finnish upgrade. Benched in a gun rest I can get a 2 or 3 inch group with Iron sights. I shot out around 500 yards when I first got with the help of binoculars and a range finder and all five shots landed on the trashcan the grouping sucked but 500 yards with all shots landing on a torso sized target isn’t a bad rifle. So those Finland boys know what they were doing. I think you just go to a range put the target out to 100 yards, bench the rifle in a gun rest [there about 20-30 dollars at wal-mart] and see how your group looks anything wider the 6 inches I wouldn’t bother.
