any chance the ruger gunsite rifle will come down in price?

I love the scout rifle concept, and can’t really afford a steyr version so i like how this rifle is cheaper, but still not cheap. I don’t expect to see $500, but 1000 is a little steep.

Like any other commodity or tool, I doubt this rifle will see a significant reduction in its retail price. On the other hand if Ruger ever decides to discontinue the model there may be a short time where wholesalers put it on sale to get it off of their shelves.

Savage also made a run of a “Scout” type rifles. Occasionally one turns up on a used gun shelve somewhere. Last one I saw was about $550.
