Is it possible to rent a rifle for target practice?

I did some trap shooting this weekend in northern California and the place would let you use one of their 12 guages for the traps if you’re a member. Great time. But you had to bring your own rifle if you wanted to do target practice on their paper target range. I don’t want to buy one/keep it in the house with young kids about. But wondered if it’s common to be able to rent one for a weekend. Should have asked the guy at the range – but didn’t think of the question until I got home. Thanks.
Earlier this week I was at the trap shooting that is. The weekend’s just begun!

By going to actual Rifle Firing Ranges or Parks that may or may not require membership. But if you lock up your weapon safely i see not problem to buying one.
