Scope for a savage model 11 in .308?

I’m looking at Leupold VX-I w/LRD reticle (approx. $229), and Burris Fullfield II w/BP reticle ($169).
I am willing to consider other options, though I will not go cheap. Also willing to consider stepping up to the Leupold VX-II w/LRD reticle ($329) if the consensus is it’s worth the money. The rifle will mostly be used for target shooting at my club, hopefully up to 600 yards. Though in the future I will probably use it for hunting in the NH woods.
I’m really hoping for input from people who have experience with these and/or other decent riflescopes.

I have 2 of the Burris scopes and am happy as a clam. One is on a Savage .270.

Never shot beyond 400 yards with mine, however.

The Fullfield II line is their entry level scope and is not made in the USA. It’s still a good scope. It’s comparable to the VX1. The VX2 is probably a higher quality scope.
