Where is the line between suffering physical ailments and mental ailments?

I have been diagnosed a schitzophrenic. Right now I have lots of weird symptoms (irritated skin, ringing in ears, inability to sleep for more than a few hours). When I tell my physician, he tells me that they are all symptoms of my mental illness. What can I do to make him see that it isn’t all in my mind?
If my skin broke out in boils, would I be told that I should change my mental meds? From now on no matter what happens, will it all just be dubbed psychosomatic?

It could be an reaction to a med your on… Altho I would hope your doctor would be doing more if it was because from what iv heard having an allegic reaction to most meds given for schizophrenia is not good… Your doctor should listen to your concerns if they’re really not then they probably are not the best doctor for you.
