Ruger 10/22 factory scope mount: Is it a weaver mount?
I have a factory scope mount for my 10/22 and I had an 11mm dovetail set of scope rings on it today. It looks like there is an 11mm rail on top of a weaver rail. I am just wondering if I will be able to mount weaver rings on it before I order them. So, will the factory rails work with weaver rings?
For at least the last 5 years Ruger has shipped their 10/22 rifles with a scope base that has both 11 mm rail and Weaver rail so you can use either ring just fine.
